Morning Walk: 09/01/2016

   Woke up in the morning to the King’s thought
   Knew a day full of challenges it was!
  Freshening up, to take up the walk
  Black guards ready to accompany, was aware!

   

     Walking fast to shed some weight
     Was laughing at myself  throughout the walk.
     Drongo as it tried to show some acrobatics
     Crow a breath taking sight I saw!

 Swirled like planes roll in clouds
Making me aware, skill and acrobatics
May be deep-seated in ordinary and simple
 Underestimating, a foolishness of head in clouds!
What a lesson, it was! Thought innumerable it provoked!

A drongo, tried to sit in pair
Perched where a couple egret already were.
Barbet a single sat on an electric line
What Class! Elegance! Poised it spelled!
Or, was it the Kingfisher I saw?

Musical songs of bird’s unforgettable
Chi-chi, twee-twee, singing mellifluously: Ethereal!

      Crow in groups of 8, on road- a path it was
      trying to show, collect what you have found!
      A message loud and clear!

       Golden Oriole, what a sight!

Sun, the brightest of star it shone
Bathing in it you feel One!
       

Cattle egret, in eight again
Threw a curious look, made me smile:
"Keep walking, don’t stop!"
Message it seemed to have conveyed!

Almost reaching home, as if I am yet not done
Pigeon, confronting! Felt as if it had come to hug
Blessed you are! Blessed be!
Universe is all yours, be content it said!
