Nadiyo ki lehrein, jhum rehi thi
mastishk ki rekhay puch rehi thi,
badalo pay pair hai tumharay,
yeh zamin tumhay chum rehi thi

Kis soch mein paday ho musafir,
Muskan kaha tumhari lupt ho rehi thi
Thandak hawa ki bechan kiya huyae thi
Yeh soch mein dubi koi sham yaad aa rehi thi!

Wayfarer
As the waves in river danced in mirth
The lines in forehead queried
Are your feet on the cloud or
did the earth kissed your feet!
What thoughts are you enclosed in wayfarer
where was your smile disappearing...
Was the cool breeze unsettling you
Or was it some evening engrossed in thoughts
That had left you frowned...
