This soul had asked one of the Professors
during those Post- Graduation years!
When he used to teach us,
Shakespeare’s “King Lear,”
Lear, who had felt unloved and shunned!

The professor, a favourite of ours
had simply put in, “feeling same emotion as another!”
On asking the difference between, sympathy and empathy:
He had aptly put, “sympathy meant understanding ones emotion
While, an emapth undergoes the same!

 

After more than ten long years
the soul broods and realizes
that there is more to it, than just feeling!
For empaths are formless and empty inside
taking the form, you give them…
Avid listener, they listen to your endless talks
easily picking up the difference between: a truth and a lie!

 Intuitive and overwhelmed by crowds
staying alone or in Nature,
is their favourite pastime!
Often affected with digestion and lower back pain
Tiredness is often of what they complain!

Sleep is a cure they stick to

disconnecting with everything around to gather their energy,
of what has been lost!
Supernatural is more natural than natural itself
Healers, Creators and Visionary of first orders!

Nature and its creation,
is their favourite grounding zone
engulfs them with light, peace and love!
Live them alone, if they want to
or cranky are what you find them at the end!

They will break free from anything
you will try to tie them down!
Love is the language, they only understand!
Lover of adventure, freedom and travel
escaping into a world of their own,
when the World gets bored!

Rules and routines are imprisonment to them
overeats when negativity strikes them!
Egoistic people they stay far from,
lover of mankind and nature…
they have come to realize,
there is no, “I” “Me” or “Mine!”

Often moody, pretend they can’t...
imaginative and inquisitive you will find them!
Be patient, as they are with you in the moment,
friend of lifetime, if they ever become one!
Positivity and fun they stick to
for life to them is a bubble!
