My face burns a bloody red
A soul, in agony as if
Crow at times, ravens yes, in pair I saw!
Ravens, one would think what it is?
How is it different from crows?
The name Ravens, the soul noticed
On reading American poet, Edgar Allan Poe!
The poem at its rhythmical best,
Portrays all that it is!
An experience in village it was
when the soul noticed
a difference in their call…
it was not the usual jazzy shrilling “caw”
but, a sonorous deep croaking, “gonk gonk!”
when the soul noticed
a difference in their call…
it was not the usual jazzy shrilling “caw”
but, a sonorous deep croaking, “gonk gonk!”
Larger than the usual crows
shiny and so thick in growth!
Silken flight they have,
Calm and quiet they were!
In garden at the backside,
Ate what was left out!
Every time they made a “whoosh”
unsettling the soul felt!
Landing as if they are sure footed
wedge or diamond tail they have!
unsettling the soul felt!
Landing as if they are sure footed
wedge or diamond tail they have!
Crow though there were many in group
the pair of ravens, made their appearance felt!
the pair of ravens, made their appearance felt!
Their eyes a charcoal black
In meditation, have always felt
Harmless, calm and quiet!
While, Crows beaks are equal in size,
ravens top beak are larger than its bottom one!
ravens top beak are larger than its bottom one!
Ravens quietly soar in sky,
doesn’t need to flap its wings like crow!
doesn’t need to flap its wings like crow!
God’s bounty everywhere is found
Ravens teach a lesson to mankind!
You came with nothing and
nothing that you are going to take!
nothing that you are going to take!
Be satisfied in now and in whatever one has,
For there is no end to wants!
