Father's Day!!!
Our childhood flew, watching you toil so hard!
Days and night appeared almost the same,
when we looked up to you.
And, every time we were infirm,
you stayed up all night with us.
And, was up and about for your business,
the very next day.
And, today when we fight on petty issues and end up laughing,
Life is blissful in your smile!
We have grown up seeing you fighting a battle of will,
to make both ends meet,
and, while doing so…
You always kept an eye on our health and well-being,
Standing tall for our families.
You are all the strength that we look upon.
Your forte lies in learning new things,
be it health-issues, horoscopes or English.
Didi has always been your sweetheart,
As you shared your learning’s and knowledge with her.
A disciplinarian! Yet, never short of Love and Care.
Be it for us, or for the society!
Today, as we still fight our battles to bring stability in our Life.
We feel stronger and better,
to have your constant blessing and Love bestowed on all of us!!!
You are our IDEAL,
And, will remain the Armour of our Life,
“Papa” (The Father) to us, forever!
