Bliss in Nature: Mysterious it is!

A doom that had loomed large over my thoughts
At times of burst so loud,
of water over flooding, I thought I heard…
A Vision: Painful cry, did I felt it clot!

A dark day I saw being replaced,
to step out and bath in Nature
of which, I yearned and craved!
Bathing me in Natural Light
Wind a constant blow was to my heart!
Off the darkness that loomed large
I saw washed away, in some natural mart!

Such Bliss, awakening my senses of Purity and Love
Understood that it was never enough
A turn, I made to have more
Leaves a glitter, reflected my Soul!
Waves lurking I saw
Stepped down, as I felt I was being crowned
Music to ears, there were many
But, Silence had a voice heard, only by uncanny!

And, as I took into the smell of water, algae and all that was fern
I could see something make a jump.
Was it an illusion or a delusion I carried in me, I thought
It jumped again to say, “I am real sweetheart!”
Jumping again and again, to bath in the glorious Sun!
I did not know what to call it
as I kept looking on...
But, Universe has a way of answering
as I saw numerous Flying fish
in the visual of the World!

  1. I love your poem! It reminds me and takes me back to a day when I lived on one of my sailboats. Her name was "Tiny Bubbles." I carried fresh water in two liter soda bottles from shore. Since I lived on the ocean and worked at a marina I would shower at the marina but would do fresh water rinses and sometimes even baths in the cock pit of my sailboat. I remember a day when I closed up the hole in the cockpit and filled my cockpit with fresh water. I sat there relaxing in my own little world in my cock pit bath! I was relaxed and sitting trance like following my own bliss in thought and in nature when out of nowhere came fish with wings looming over the starboard side and straight in to my cockpit! One after the other! I jumped up butt naked awakened quickly from my dreamy state. There must have been a whole school of them. This moment in time in nature has been buried deep within my sub-conscious until I read your poem that made it come alive again and now, I sit here and smile in the precious memory of bathing with the flying fish!
