Her eyes flashed opened up,
To find it was just five in the morning.
She thought she can go back to sleep again.
But, pain in her eyes, has stirred her up!
To find it was just five in the morning.
She thought she can go back to sleep again.
But, pain in her eyes, has stirred her up!
Forcing her to get up, from her restless state
staring at a reflection of Red eyes and pink nose,
Had she cried in her dreams, she asked herself!
Or was it the cold that had kept her restless!
“Are you hurt?” It echoed in her consciousness!
“Hurt!” was she? And, she knew sleep was not to come.
She got ready to take a walk.
Maybe it would give her some solace, and warm her cold heart!
It was a dull day, monkeys
black face three in number she saw!
But, Drongo she saw to have sat apart!
She walked to find brown and yellow peepal leaves!
Is it autumn or winter?
And, why are peepal and banyan always together?

Cattle
egret she found in her way
But, a stabbing pain kept on sinking onto her!
Machine noise, was killing the voice she yearned to hear!
And, at the majestic banyan tree,
it’s the shrieking voice of the bird she heard!
Why did it felt like some kind of doom?
A single drop of rain woke her up from her reverie!
Sun shone for just few seconds, growing dull again!

The
drongo though she perceived,
to be sitting in same line,
Were adamant, to never speak again!
And, as she neared her home
she felt she was going to sink in earth!

And, as she neared her home
she felt she was going to sink in earth!
But, the concentration on her breath…
“Shivohum! Shivohum! Shivohum!
Stopped her from going to sleep again!
