Devuthan Ekadasi: Wake up God, A Call: An Experience!

Devuthan Ekadasi it was
they say that Lord Vishnu gets up on this day
And, fasting is rejuvenating.
At least was aware of detoxifying and cleansing
Is all I can say!

Taking it as an opportunity, I did fast
Lemon water, water was my only solace.
But, as soon as I drank coffee
In order to work...
rest took over and deep sleep it was!

Waking up to feel something burst open
an uncanny feeling of flowing water, a feeling so strong!
Pain, Cry and Prayers of trembling eyes
Ambulance: A Siren so loud!
Leaving you restless, for hours and hours!

Dehydration and bloating a common cause
an echo to turn back, turn back: so strong!
Yet, braving it and not giving up!
Live life in Now, or just give it up!

Day after day time passes by…
Leaving you all alone, save for some friends close by!

The spark flying from the match,
leaves tiny spot of burns, a reminiscence!
Pain of a moment, painless later on!
Consciousness of just One: A Remedy
Now it is, NOW that we have a hold on!
