Initiation

Days as if has been long,
wait and waiting, has been the song…
positive though, thought, what if
the dreams of past years collapse!

Struggle, it has been, too long…
act and acting, on what has to be done!
Dream of mother, it has always been
Completion of which would set her free!

A dream, to explore and discover more
field of words and literature, as an echo!
Day of 08/08/16 it was…another 8,
an addition, a day, it breathed first!

Cry, an agony, a pain it was
of all the impatience of well-wishers around!
Difficult to decide, of past years it is
or the moment, Now!

Vibration of love and divine it was…
blessings of One, the soul has always known!
  Visiting the holy sanctum, it prayed for all
Submission of self, the inner self, was calm for some time!

On returning home, though,
A message of declaration, was informed!
Hands and feet cold, trembling they were...
stunned and shocked, network, zero it was!

 Rushed to the neighbor, next door
Mother, a scared picture, decided to stay back!
Instantly, the result swam and
eyes, all blurred, heaved a sigh of relief!

Trembling hand, reached for father
burst out with cry and relief, a solace!
Mother, rushed on hearing the news
A hug, in release, of two trembling soul of relief!

The soul, a blessing of parents and teacher it is

Love of kinsman and friends around!

Travel, a long distance it would be

of knowledge and richness, to be!

 The moment, outside the temple it was

magpie robin, a surprise for soul!

Felt one with it,

as it chirped and took part!

Mother’s dream having fulfilled

two big hurdles of life, is left to be crossed!

A dream since school and a dream

for which the soul was born…
